24 Credit Hour Program
If you have not completed high school or do not have U.S. high school equivalency, you may be eligible for SUNY Schenectady’s 24 Credit Hour Program.

Applicants in this program take the Ability to Benefit (ATB) exam to be accepted.

This program is intended for:

Students age 18 or older who have not and will not graduate from high school, or
Students who do not have a U.S. high school equivalency and want to earn their GED/HSE.

If you already graduated from high school or already have a GED/HSE or other U.S. high school equivalency, this program is not for you and your application cannot be evaluated under the 24 Credit Hour Program.

24 Credit Hour Program
