Please note: If you are using this form after 7/15/25, this is to withdraw from a summer ECHS course. If you have any questions regarding the form please contact our Early College in the High School team at, echs@suny.sccc or by phone at, 518-381-1200 ext. 1199.
Drops
A drop request removes a student from an ECHS summer course without a permanent academic record, provided the request is submitted by the drop deadline below. Drops must be submitted using the designated form (see above). Students are encouraged to review all date and deadlines carefully, as drop requests received after the deadline will not be approved.
Withdrawals
Course withdrawal applies when a student exits an ECHS summer course after the official drop deadline has passed. We encourage students who are in jeopardy of earning a failing grade to first speak with their instructor and, if appropriate, request a course withdrawal. A student will earn a grade of ‘W’ indicating the withdrawal on the student’s official transcript. Unlike failing grades, a grade of ‘W’ does not impact a student’s grade point average (GPA). Tuition refunds are not granted for withdrawals. Please note, withdrawals may have future implications for financial aid. Withdrawal requests must be submitted using the form (above) and are reviewed by the Office of College and High School Partnerships. Students are encouraged to review all date and deadlines carefully, as withdrawal requests received after the deadline will not be approved. PLEASE NOTE: It is the student's responsibility to complete this form. Notifying your instructor or other personal does NOT drop/withdraw you from your SUNY SCCC course. Failure to do so will result in an "F" grade being awarded on your official college transcript. DROP: ECHS Summer Courses – June 28, 2026
